Account Executive (UK)
Billhop is hiring! This role is for our UK entity. We are looking for a high-performing and collaborative colleague to drive B2B sales and accelerate business growth by promoting our innovative product.
Please note: Although the role is fully remote, you must be based in the UK and have the right to work in the UK. We do not offer sponsorship. The role may involve occasional international travel, so a valid passport is required.

The Role
As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a highly dedicated and collaborative Account Executive to drive our commercial efforts across the UK & Europe. You will play a crucial role in our continued growth journey by expanding our customer base and enhancing our market presence. Working closely with the commercial team, you will execute sales strategies to meet and exceed our revenue targets.
Your primary responsibility will be driving new sales while also managing and cultivating relationships with both new and existing clients. You will engage with medium-sized and large global enterprise businesses across various industries and countries.
While you will be part of a local UK team, you will be actively collaborating with the commercial team located in Sweden.
About You
You are passionate about sales and business development, with a drive to challenge the industry's status quo. You thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment that values collaboration, flexibility, and trust. You’re eager to deepen your knowledge of the fintech industry and B2B payment solutions.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- 3-5 years of B2B sales experience
- Experience in the financial service industry
- Skilled in using a consultative sales approach and managing long sales cycles
- Ability to lead independent sales initiatives while collaborating effectively across teams
- Proven track record of engaging senior stakeholders and key decision-makers
- Fluent in English with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, goal-driven, and proactive in problem-solving
- Disciplined and thorough in CRM usage to track pipeline, forecast accurately, and drive data-driven sales decisions.
Desirable:
- Experience with the fintech or payments industry
- Additional language skills (Italian or German preferred)
- Proficient in MEDDPICC, MEDDIC, SPIN Selling, or Challenger Sales methodologies
